Barry Katz
Barry Katz, CGP, LEED AP, is the founder of Greenworks Consulting, LLC, which offers sustainability and green building consulting services for residential and commercial projects of all sizes. He is also president of Barry Katz Homebuilding, Inc. in Westport, CT and the recipient of the 2007 HOBI Award for Best Green House from the Connecticut Association of Homebuilders.
Katz's public speaking schedule includes a green building workshop for architects and building professionals at Boston Society of Architects’ Residential Design Conference (2007, 2008, and 2009 - upcoming).
Barry Katz is a former chairman of the Westport, CT Architectural Review Board. He is currently at work on a book, “Practical Green Remodeling: Sustainable Solutions for Every Day Homes,” due out from Taunton Press in early 2010.
