  Larky Hodges

  In 2006, my family and I decided to change our lifestyle so that we would have less impact on the planet. We wanted to do more than change a light bulb. Many home improvement projects and a lot of product knowledge later, I decided that it was time to put all that information I had learned, as well as the passion I had developed, to good use by sharing it with others and so I started a consulting company called Go Green Guidance. My services vary depending on a clients needs. I also speak to groups about ways to reduce their impact on the environment as well as continuing to work as a professional storyteller. For over 15 years I have been visiting schools and classrooms; telling stories that tie into lesson plans and enrich curriculum. Most recently I have tried to focus on telling stories that teach the concepts of sustainability, recycling, energy and living harmoniously on Earth.

Prior to joining Ceres, I was the Online Organizer for TrueMajority.org where I worked to engage everyday people on progressive political issues including universal health care, election protection and climate change. Before that, I developed and managed the online communications program at Corporate Accountability International.
